Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park may be small compared to other parks in Tanzania, but it offers an incredible diversity of wildlife and landscapes. The park is most famous for its tree-climbing lions, a rare and fascinating sight. Its alkaline lake also attracts thousands of flamingos, along with hippos, elephants, giraffes, and more than 400 species of birds.
The scenery here is especially varied—lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, and acacia woodlands all surrounding the shimmering lake. Visitors can also enjoy unique experiences like the canopy walkway, offering a bird’s-eye view of the forest and its wildlife.
Lake Manyara is a perfect destination for a short but rewarding game drive, rich in both wildlife and natural beauty.
